If you want to grow taller quickly then you need to fill your body with the right food, vitamins and nutrients to help you achieve this goal. This doesn't mean all the junk foods that you are filling yourself with at the moment but instead you need to be able to keep your body healthy to help you in reaching your goal. So what are the essential nutrients you need to provide your body with?

Firstly you want to eat foods that are high in protein. Protein is the building blocks for muscles and tissues and even bones. You may have seen bodybuilders eat foods high in protein or even protein shakes which helps promote growth where needed which is the muscles for them. Such foods that you should look into for protein are nuts, meat, fish, eggs, chicken etc. Don't over-indulge in these foods, you want to keep a balanced diet at the same time.

Growing involves the bones which means that the next nutrient you are going to look at is good old calcium. Calcium is great for strengthening bones which you are going to want for this process. The best source for calcium is dairy products with the most common being milk.

Finally you want to increase your water intake to about 2 litres a day. By increasing your water intake you are allowing more nutrients and vitamins to be absorbed into your bloodstream to be distributed around the body and then to the bones.

Things to avoid would be the bad habits such as smoking, drinking and eating unhealthy foods as this will just do more harm than good to your goals.

All you have to do is keep all of this in mind when trying to grow taller quickly. With an effective diet sorted all you have to do is add in some exercises and stretches and get yourself a good amount of sleep and you will soon start to notice a big change in not only your health but also you height.
